I love the Elemis Cleansing Balm so I was very keen to try out this new exfoliating treatment version. Here is the low down on the new Elemis Pro Collagen Glow Boost Exfoliator. Enjoy!
What is Elemis Pro Collagen Glow Boost Exfoliator?

- Glow-boosting exfoliator
- Shares the same blend of nourishing oils and waxes as the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
- Spherical exfoliating cellulose beads sweep away dead or dull skin cells
- Starflower, Elderberry and Optimega oils leave the skin feeling soft and smooth
- Works to deeply cleanse and decongest the skin
Key Ingredients
Starflower Oil
Extracted from the seeds from Starflower, otherwise known as the Borage plant. This is the richest natural source of GLA, Omega-6 fatty acid which helps to soften, smooth, and nourish.
Optimega Oil
This is a carefully balanced blend of Wheatgerm and Oat oils designed to give a balanced range of Essential Fatty Acids including Omega 6 & 9. Helps to reduce trans epidermal water loss and increase the skin’s feeling of smoothness.
Elderberry Oil
Taken from the seed of the Elderberry fruit, it is rich in essential fatty acids, and natural antioxidants. It is readily absorbed to support skin smoothness, without leaving a greasy skin feel.
Padina Pavonica
An excellent source of polysaccharides, itworks to maintain moisturisation, and support the feeling of hydration.
Gentle exfoliating cellulose beads
A non-plastic alternative to microbeads, sourced from spruce trees, to sweep away dead skin.
My Review

There is such a big focus on chemical exfoliants but I have to say, as much as I love an acid, I am still a really big fan of physical exfoliators when it comes to getting your skin super smooth and ready for makeup.
The Elemis Pro Collagen Glow Boost Exfoliator is a gorgeously gentle yet nourishing formula that delicately buffs away dead skin cells whilst infusing the skin with lots of conditioning oils and emollients.
It has that wonderful spa-like aroma that makes the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm so special. And just like the cleansing balm, it emulsifties into a soft silky milk when you add a splash of water.

I like to use this on dry skin and then get into the shower as I find this the easiest way to fully rinse away the beads. My biggest peeve with physical exfoliants is when I am still finding the grains on my skin that I miss when I rinse over the sink. The shower always seems to make sure everything is rinsed away.
It leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth and it’s such a great step to follow if you want your foundation to lay down beautifully.
After using the Elemis Pro Collagen Glow Boost Exfoliator, serums and moisturiser sink in very effectively too. It’s a great product to use a couple of times a week to keep your skin clear and glowy.
