How to use Kate Somerville Mega C 30% Vitamin C Brightening Facial
This mask is really simple to use. You need to make sure you have clean and dry skin before you start, so make sure you do a gentle cleanse, and then allow your skin to properly dry before applying the mask.

I simply spread a thin layer over my whole face, avoiding the eye area, and then set a timer for 20 minutes before removing it with a cloth.
My Review

I literally tried this the as soon as I got hold of it because I brightened even complexion is pretty much everything I hope for when it comes to my skin.
I have only used it once so far, and apparently you will see results after two uses, but I wanted to give you my first impression now, and then update when I have more to share.
I really like the creamy texture of this mask. I was warned when this was sent to me that the Kate Somerville Mega C 30% Vitamin C Brightening Facial is very active so not suitable for sensitive skins.
I was also told that I may experience a tingle, but I have to say I didn’t really. I found the slightest tingle at first, which then disappeared. I wore the mask for the maximum 20 minute period and it felt super comfortable the whole time.

I really like the creamy texture of this product. It smooths on easily and stays feeling comfortable on the skin. I set a timer because I think it’s super important never to overdo it with any active skincare. Also, you need to make sure that you avoid exfoliators and other actives (e.g. Retinol) on the same day as using this.
I used a wet face cloth to remove it when the time was up, and it left my skin feeling super super soft and smooth. After one use, it made my skin really lovely and fresh looking with a great glow.
I am very excited to use this again in a few days and as soon as I do I’ll update with my thoughts on the results after two uses.
If you are looking to tackle hyperpigmentation, it’s essential to use an effective sunscreen product every day. I have been loving the new Garnier SPF50 which has ceramides in the formula. Read: Garnier Ambre Solaire SPF 50+ Super UV Invisible Face Serum Review.
