Transformation of the Day: Raven lost 70 pounds. She simply wanted to look great and feel good about herself. Her routine includes working out 2-3 days a week and embracing a low-carb, high-protein eating style.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I wanted to look great and feel good about myself, and I was tired of letting my life pass me by. I wouldn’t go out to events or parties because I didn’t like how I looked.
How did you change your eating habits?
I completely cut out carbs and sugar and focused on high-protein foods and snacks. I also drank 64oz of water or more each day.
What is your workout routine?
Cardio, for sure. I ran a mile a day and started doing bodyweight workouts.

I work out 2-3 times a week.

My starting weight was 254 pounds, and my current weight is 184 pounds.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I learned that weight loss takes time and dedication. Once you start moving and make it a routine, it’s fun and easy.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Stay on track, believe in yourself, and don’t compare your journey to others.
