As always throughout the year we asked mums to showcase and celebrate their amazing results using The Healthy Mummy app, so their stories can help inspire other mums wanting to start their own weight loss journey too.
These 3 mums proudly shared their combined massive 139kg weight loss results to help motivate others.

Jemma Hahn has lost 50kg
Jemma tells The Healthy Mummy, “I have lost a total of 50kg thanks to The Healthy Mummy – I first started with the Healthy Mummy recipes and lost 20kg then incorporated exercise as well and I lost a further 30kg.
I have lost and gained weight a lot throughout my life and lost weight because I didn’t like how I looked and would obsess on the scale.
This time I took time to work on myself first, found love for myself again and changed my lifestyle out of love and wanting to look after myself and be healthy not to ‘lose weight’. The Healthy Mummy app helped so much with the meal plans, recipes, exercises and supportive community, it is now 2 years later I’m maintaining my weight and have never been happier or healthier in my life!”

It’s not just the food that helped Jemma, she loves The Healthy Mummy workouts too! Jemma says her favourites are “Pilates, Dancefit and the Kids Workouts (I easily chromecast the exercises to my tv from the app) and sometimes I just walk if that’s all I have time for.”
It has been a long and painful journey for Jemma who lost 30kg in 2021 then had 2 major BRCA1 preventative surgeries (full hysterectomy with salpingo-oophorectomy in Feb 2022 then a double mastectomy with reconstruction in June 2022). After her surgeries Jemma needed months of bed rest, patience and healing which saw her gain 10kg, “But it was worth it to allow my body and mind time to heal,” Jemma tells us.
As a result of many difficulties, Jemma knew she needed to recover holistically and understand how to reset her healthy lifestyle and overcome her bad habits. She took a course on women’s empowerment and through this she has discovered how important it is to nurture and love yourself for you to be the best for your loved ones.
Cassie Krawczyk has lost 46kg
Cassie shares, “My Healthy Mummy journey started back in 2015 after the birth of my 2nd child. I weighed in at 108 kg and it was time to make the change for my children. I lost 46 kg that time round dropping quite a few dress sizes.
I then fell pregnant with my 3rd child. I jumped straight back into it after having him and getting back down to 65 kg and a size 8. My confidence was at an all-time high. I was loving the Healthy Mummy workouts on the app and building so much strength.
I then fell pregnant with my 4th in 2022. He has now just hit his first birthday and I have been working so hard at getting my confidence back. Losing this excess baby weight this time has not been easy but I am remaining determined. I’m still using the Healthy Mummy smoothies and recipes daily. And did so throughout my last pregnancy as well. Although I’m not back to where I want to be as yet. I am working on it.
I am doing this to show my 2 sons you can be healthy and how to be healthy. I am at risk of type 2 diabetes and will do anything to be here longer for my sons but I am struggling financially so this money will help so much. I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
In October my Dr had said I will develop diabetes and need medication more than likely for the rest of my life if I don’t do something about it now. As a health professional I knew the consequences if I didn’t start so got really motivated and dropped 3.6kg that month.
Tanya Gillingham has lost 43kg
Tanya tells The Healthy Mummy, “I started with The Healthy Mummy in November 1st 2021 after a traumatic birth with my youngest son and 5 operations leaving me unable to move around! It was the reflection time l needed to start to make healthier options for myself and my family.
I have continued to exercise every single day since it has given me the mental resilience to back myself and to focus on me no matter what hurdle l am jumping over and honestly there have been so many. I see this as a journey, not a destination where each day l have continued to learn more about myself both mind and body!

Do what you enjoy and you will show up more for it. I joined to lose weight after having my daughter. It’s empowered me. I am healthy, fit and able to keep up with my 2 kids. It has been a life-changing experience, my husband and I have learned so much about exercise and food.
We went from always cooking premade sauces from cans/jars, to cooking food from scratch with fresh ingredients. We embraced the change and have never looked back! Our family is so much happier and healthier and our kids have been brought up with healthy food and a healthy mindset.
